Upcoming Annual Institute
Integrating Knowledge and Practice to Advance Human Dignity for All
Policy Sciences Annual Institute 2026
Hosted by the World Bank | Washington, DC | November 11–13, 2026
About the Institute
The goal of this year’s Annual Institute, hosted by the World Bank, is to explore, cross-pollinate, and co-create ideas and shared language applying the Policy Sciences in practice to contexts, conditions, and problems of Development, Equity, and Empowerment.
During the Institute, Policy Sciences practitioners will share insights grounded in scholarship, practice and experience, collectively articulating the value and efficacy of our multi-method contextual approach. World Bank participants will learn and reflect on how they might incorporate Policy Sciences concepts to optimize their work, providing potential cases and examples of policy in practice.
This year, we are especially interested in presentations that move beyond problem analysis and recommendations, and into the promotion, prescription, invocation, and appraisal of policy solutions, helping chart a credible path toward real change.
